Wednesday Night Activities

It all starts with FBC Kids and Crossfire at 3:30 pm. All children from Kindergarten – 5th grade are welcome to be a part of the FBC Kids Club from 3:30-6:00 pm, which offers snacks, homework, Bible stories and dinner. Transportation is provided from the two Murphysboro grade schools by contacting the school and Barb Troutman. Crossfire Middle School Youth is from 3:30-5:30 pm. The Family Dinner starts at 5:00 pm with dinner for everyone. Crossfire High School Youth and Bible Study with Pastor both start at 6:00 pm. Choir rehearsal begins at 7:15. Invite your family friends and neighbors! There is something for all ages here at FBC on Wednesday nights.

Decorate the Church

On Tuesday, November 21, at 3:30pm everyone is invited to an evening of holiday spirit and fun. Bring the whole family to help kick off the Christmas season by decorating the church. The fun will begin as everyone arrives.

Hanging of the Greens

Hanging of the Greens will be held on Sunday, November 26th at 10am. The congregation will be led through this special holiday service that reminds us of the significance of the decorations which adorn our Sanctuary and building each Christmas season. This is a great service to invite family, friends & neighbors to as we enter the season of our Lord Jesus’ birth. Just in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday events. The High School Girls Group will be making those fabulous FBC Peanut Rolls on Friday, November 17th. The cost is $12 a dozen. If you would like to order a dozen or two or three (they freeze), contact a High School girl, Kari Graff, Kristy Dunning or church office.

17th Annual Christmas Banquet

Our annual Christmas Banquet will be Sunday, December 3rd. Appetizers begin at 5:30pm, and dinner begins at 6pm. The Christmas Banquet has become a wonderful event for the church family to gather together for an elegant evening of great food and warm fellowship. Following the meal the FBC Kids will provide holiday music for everyone to enjoy. Cost: $12 Adults $5 Children Under 3 years are free. Bring your family and friends for a wonderful evening filled with Christ centered holiday spirit!

Shoe Collection

The Humphrey family is still collecting old shoes to help with the cost of adopting Mason. The collection barrel is in the elevator alcove next to the handicap parking lot at the back of the building. If you need pickup, contact Jesse.
